    Bark About it Blog Review

Check out this great blog post one of our fans wrote about Bags on Board! For more information about the Bark About it Blog visit www.barkaboutit.blogspot.com

     Bark About It Blog Review:

Adam normally works nights and weekends, but he has been off all week which means we’ve gotten to spend every evening together.  The dogs are loving getting to spend all day with their dad and they’re loving our nightly walks even more.   Although Sophia did get so tired tonight that she decided to lay down when we just had one more block to go.

Adam has been walking Einstein with the Bags on Board® Retractable Leash. It’s made for dogs up to 45 pounds, which means our tubby is just under the weight limit.  I wrote earlier about how Einstein has been eating VERY well since joining the family.  He hasn’t gained any weight since this blog, but he probably won’t lose any until I move in and take over his feeding schedule.

The Bags on Board® Retractable Leash has built-in dispenser for pick-up bags, which makes it very easy to get out a bag to clean up after one dog, while the other two are pulling to get on with the walk.

The dispenser is easy to refill and the leash comes with three rolls of 15 bags. And at PETCO’s price of $24.99 for dogs up to 45 pounds and $26.99 for dogs up to 110 pounds, the leash is competitively priced against other retractable leashes. Refills for the pcik-up bags are $6.99 for 60 and $12.99 for 120.

    Simple Solution on Twitter

By now, most of us are familiar with Twitter, a new trend of short text communicating that has become mainstream and is boldly going where no social networking site has gone before. Many people and businesses alike are finding this site useful to update friends, family and customers about daily occurrences. Although Twitter is fairly recent, the social networking site has already attracted an estimated 4 – 5 million users with 55 million unique visitors per month.

We have already seen how powerful Twitter has been with real world-breaking news such as the earthquake in China and the Hudson River plane landing and now this micro-blogging platform is becoming a place where companies build brands, do research, send information to customers and create communities for their users.

Experts are predicting Twitter will permanently change American business within the next two to three years, based on an examination of Twitter’s model, the way that corporations and small businesses are currently using the service and how they plan on using Twitter in the future.

We are excited to announce Simple Solution® has created a Twitter account to communicate with fans about our pet care product line and also to connect through sharing pet industry trends and news updates. We encourage everyone to follow our updates http://twitter.com/Simple_Solution  for new product announcements and promotional offers!

    Avoiding Pet Travel Anxiety

Let’s face it, you need a break from work and all you can think about is vacation. Loading up the family car including the family dog or cat for a road trip can have its drawbacks. Pet owners find it hard to leave their furry friends behind, but on the other hand, bringing a pet in the car can be very stressful for them. Not all pets enjoy the prospect of traveling in a moving vehicle.

While some pets often become excited for road trip, others absolutely hate the idea. They may be afraid, nervous, or anxious, and as a result vomit, drool and pant due to the stress they experience when traveling. This type of behavior can make traveling unpleasant for you and your pet.

Because travel anxiety can be so distressing for your pet, it is necessary to make traveling more bearable and stress-free for them. Now, Vet’s Best™ has a product to help make road trips with your pet safer, more convenient and enjoyable. Vet’s Best™ Travel Calm makes summer traveling with your pet less stressful by helping to reduce stress and tension caused by travel or loud noises. Vet’s Best™ Travel Calm also helps ease any discomfort caused by motion, and is all natural. This is great for pets that may not be comfortable with traveling. The formula contains Ginger, Valerian Root, Tryptophan, Pyroidoxine (Vitamin B6), Potassium and Magnesium and comes in 40 chewable tablets.

In addition to using Vet’s Best™ Travel Calm, enticing your pet with his favorite treats to enter the car may help, as well as playing or feeding him near to the car before you leave.

When you hit the road, make sure your car is always well ventilated and never leave your pet in a car during warm weather. Taking your pet’s favorite toy or blanket will also help them feel more secure when traveling.

It’s  summer! You’ve been looking forward all winter to being outdoors with both your dog and your garden. But now you remember that to dogs, seedlings are for trampling and dirt is for digging. Fortunately, a little planning can help plants and pups get along more harmoniously.
